Lesson 3 — Step 2: Choose Your AI Tool

Pick One AI and Stick With It

You need an AI to build the campaigns, write platform-specific captions, and generate the bulk-upload CSVs. Any major AI tool works. The key is consistency — pick one, learn its quirks, build muscle memory.

Recommended: Claude (Anthropic) with Cowork — ★

Plan: Pro or Max — $20 to $200/month

Why it wins: Cowork actually executes the steps inside your browser — logs into Publer, uploads media to your folders, bulk-imports your CSVs as drafts. Other AIs only give you text and you have to do the work yourself.

Claude Cowork can:

  • Log into Publer for you
  • Upload images to the right Publer folders
  • Bulk-import each CSV as drafts (the Scofield rule: never auto-publish)
  • Stage everything for your final review before scheduling

Alternative AIs (text-only — you do the rest)

  • ChatGPT (Plus, ~$20/mo) — Excellent for captions and CSV building. No browser execution.
  • Gemini (Advanced, ~$20/mo) — Strong if you live in Google Workspace.
  • Perplexity (Pro, ~$20/mo) — Best for local Vegas market research and current data.

Recommendation

Claude Pro with Cowork. The $20 covers a tool that does the actual work, not just generates text. Most agents save 4–6 hours of manual setup on the first run alone.

Common Mistakes

  • Switching AIs mid-build. Don’t. Each AI handles CSVs and platform formatting differently. Pick one and stay.
  • Free-tier AI for the master prompt. The free tiers cap context length. The master prompt + 20 searches + 6 platform CSVs blows past free-tier limits — you’ll get truncated output.
  • Using ChatGPT then trying to have Cowork “import” — it won’t. Cowork is Claude-specific.
