Lesson 10 — Steps 9 & 10: Upload to Publer + Bulk Import

Two Tasks, Same Lesson

Step 9 is uploading your media to Publer’s library. Step 10 is bulk-importing the 24 CSVs the AI built. Doing them together makes the workflow smooth.

Step 9 — Upload to Publer Media

Build two folders in Publer’s media library:

  • Ylopo Images — FB, LinkedIn, Pinterest (~80 files: 20 searches × 4 ratios)
  • Ylopo MP4 — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (~60 files: 20 searches × 3 ratios)

Drop everything in. Tell your AI: “Pull from these Publer folders when building the CSV.” Publer’s bulk import will reference the correct media file by filename.

Filename Tip

Use clear filenames like summerlin_pool_1080sq.png so the CSV maps cleanly to the right asset. Inconsistent filenames = failed bulk imports.

Step 10 — Bulk Import in Publer (Six Steps × 24 CSVs)

  1. Open Publer → Create → Bulk Import
  2. Upload one CSV (e.g., Week 1 Facebook)
  3. Publer parses — review every post for caption/image match
  4. For Facebook: confirm the link converted to an uploaded image (not the auto link preview)
  5. Schedule the week — but DRAFT first (see rule below)
  6. Repeat for each platform × each week (24 imports total: 6 platforms × 4 weeks)

SCOFIELD POSTING RULE — DRAFTS FIRST

Push every post to DRAFT status first. Never queue or publish without Kirby’s approval. Once Kirby reviews, move drafts to scheduled. No exceptions. Same rule as the daily posting machine.

Why Drafts First

One non-compliant post can trigger a complaint that costs you and the brokerage. Five minutes of Kirby’s review on the first batch saves potential license, lawsuit, and reputation cost. After your first 3-4 successful drafts → scheduled cycles, the review pace usually loosens.

FB Link → Uploaded Image (Critical)

Facebook by default auto-generates a link preview when you paste a URL. That preview gets 30-50% less reach than an uploaded image with a link in the caption. In Publer’s bulk-import preview:

  1. Find each Facebook post in the parsed list
  2. Confirm Publer has loaded an uploaded image (not a generated link card)
  3. If it’s auto-generating a link card, manually swap to the uploaded image from your “Ylopo Images” folder
  4. The branded short link goes in the caption, NOT in the link preview

Common Mistakes

  • Queueing instead of drafting. Publer’s “Schedule” defaults to live queue. Use “Save as Draft” until Kirby approves.
  • Skipping the FB link-to-image conversion. You lose half the reach.
  • Mismatched filenames between Publer Media and CSV references. Bulk import will fail silently — posts go up with broken images.
  • Importing all 24 CSVs at once without reviewing. Review each platform’s first few posts before committing the rest. Catch caption errors early.
