Why Video Wins on IG, TikTok, and YouTube

IG, TikTok, and YouTube outperform with video. You don’t need to film anything — convert your static images to MP4 with motion. Four tools to choose from, all batch-friendly.

Target Specs

  • Length: 7–15 seconds
  • Hook: Lead with the headline (address or main feature) in the first 2 seconds
  • Outro: End with the branded short link visible on screen
  • Resolution: 1080×1920 (vertical for Reel/Story/TikTok), 1280×720 or 1920×1080 (horizontal for YouTube)

Workflow (Canva Path — Easiest)

  1. Open your Canva image template (1080×1920 vertical)
  2. Add a Magic Animate effect: subtle pan + slight zoom (3 seconds)
  3. Add a 1-second text-in animation for the headline (e.g., “Summerlin Pools Under $750K”)
  4. Add a 2-second text-out animation for the branded short link at the end
  5. Export as MP4 — Standard quality is fine (smaller file, fast upload)
  6. Save with a clear filename: summerlin_pools_under_750k.mp4

Batch Tip

Build ONE motion template in Canva per platform aspect ratio. Duplicate it for each of the 20 searches, swap the image and text, export. You can knock out 60 MP4s (20 × 3 vertical platforms) in about 90 minutes once the template is set.

Filename Convention (Critical for Bulk Import)

Use clear, predictable filenames so the AI’s CSV can map cleanly to the right asset:

  • summerlin_pools_1080sq.png (FB/IG square)
  • summerlin_pools_1080x1920.mp4 (IG/TikTok)
  • summerlin_pools_1000x1500.png (Pinterest)

Common Mistakes

  • Length over 30 seconds. TikTok and IG drop completion rates after 15 seconds. Keep it tight.
  • No headline in the first 2 seconds. Viewers swipe past unbranded video instantly.
  • Branded short link only at the end as text. Make it visible AND clickable in the caption.
  • Inconsistent filenames. Bulk import fails when filenames don’t match the CSV reference.
